The rules were debated at an EGM at Bournemouth on 8th March 2008.
Tabled were version 3.00 the last publicly debated version and 4.00 the final version after consideration by the AEBBA committee.
The only significant changes to these versions were;
Playing rule 27(O) regarding a deliberate foul shot by rolling the cue ball along the baulk line was reinstated
Playing rule 36 regarding deliberate time wasting was dropped for further consideration pending a proposal at the next AGM.
